We finished painting last night at around 10 p.m. and I can't believe the difference!

We carried the paint through to the kitchen. Once I finish putting the backsplash up I will post after pictures of the kitchen.
I am going to do a little shopping next week for some accent colours. What do you think about purple? Or would orange or red look better?

I am on a roll today spring cleaning!!!! It feels great to get rid of stuff! We already have 6 garbage bags full of clothes and toys for donation!!!

May has certainly started out with some major events. We had our federal election in Canada last night and history was made on Sunday night. My thanks and prayers go out to all of those who have and are participating in the fight against terrorism both at home and abroad.
The big event for today .... does not compare to the other two .... I finally got Joshua to try soup. He is still at the table ....

I made up these Easter baskets for the children today while they were at school. We are going to dye and decorate eggs tomorrow, do some crafts, make gingerbread bunny houses and play games. I like it when the kids are home for a long weekend. I also like it when they go back to school when it is over:)

P.S. Brent has been doing the laundry over the last few days much to my delight! Everything is super wrinkly, not put away and he hasn't use fabric softener but I acted thrilled anyway!

We are back!! It was a very long drive home but we got in safely last night and there is only a little bit of snow left in our yard! Abby declared on the way home that she was ready to move to Florida lol! Not sure that will happen any time soon but I sure would like to go back next week! The weather was hot and sunny every day and could not have been more perfect. Busch Gardens was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed SeaWorld again. I will be posting lots of pictures over the coming weeks (I only took 1100 pics!) and I am going to start working on SeaWorld and Busch Gardens themed kits to scrapbook my pictures. I will also let you know about where we stayed and what our favourites were at each of the parks!
I spent the day unpacking and I will spend the evening catching up on my email and comments.
It is nice to be home!

I am so tired of cleaning!!! The more I clean the more I find that needs to be cleaned! My mother-in-law is coming tomorrow so I am not doing my "regular" clean if you know what I mean!! I don't know why I always freak out when she is coming ... I guess I just want her to think that I am perfect :)
Can't believe March is right around the corner ..... off to the grocery store to pick up a few last items for our company coming tonight.
