Sassy Patterns and 2011 Calendar Toppers

Here is the beginning of the Sassy Mega Kit!  I have finished with the Tough papers and once the Sassy papers have been given out we will move onto Silly and then all of the elements and fun stuff I have planned for all 3 kits!

I also have added to my store the 2011 Calendar Toppers.  They are 11 x 8 1/2 and can also be used to make calendars or as quick pages.  You can find them here.

Here is the calendar I have started for myself, I plan to have it finished and ordered for Christmas presents by the end of the weekend!  I do them every year and my family loves them :)

I have done full sets (16 different layouts to pick and choose from in each set) in Giggle and Shout and a partial add-on in Smirk (7 layouts)!  If you buy the Giggle and Shout sets you can get the Smirk ones free!

Heavy Heart

I have decided after much debate that I need to take a break from designing.  When we had our twins 5 years ago I quit my job to stay home with our 3 children.  We worked very hard to have our 3 children in the first place and we wanted to give them every possible advantage including a happy, loving and balanced home life.  I have not been living up to my responsibilites as I have been growing my business here online.  I know that I will regret the time that I have lost with them and I am determined to do a better job going forward.  Please understand that this decision has been made to benefit my children.

I have very much enjoyed getting to know all of you.  You have been a great blessing in my life that I will cherish forever :)

I have left the comments closed for this post as I can't bear to read your good byes, disappointment and possible flames :(  I also ask that you not email me your good byes because this is already hard enough for me.  I will miss you!

I have finished all of my tax returns, birthday parties (lol), Disney vacation and all 4 books of the Twilight Series!  They were so good!

Thank you for all of the great comments about Twilight and a heads up on the Midnight Sun draft :)

I finished New Moon and I am going to start Eclipse.  I am completely loving this series and can think of little else lol!  I might have to have my husband take the books to work with him during the day so that I can get my regular stuff done!!!  I watched the movie on Tuesday (while I was putting together a dresser) and loved it.  I loved the book so much that I assumed I would hate the movie as they are never as good but I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't make any major changes and the characters were really well cast.  When are the other movies coming out?  I agree with all of you about New Moon :)  I might have to open up a new blog dedicated to us chatting about the Twilight series lol!

Smirk - April Papers

I am happy to report that I got a GST Return, a PST Return and 2 tax returns (1 personal and 1 business) done today!  Only 8 more tax returns and 4 more GST returns to go!!  I didn't get any email done but I did take a sneak peek at all of your wonderful comments from yesterday and I feel good knowing that I am not alone on the birthday party thing and calling other people's children monsters :)  I may get up the nerve to actually look at the party pictures some time soon and I think I will have a few glasses of wine when I do to try and trick myself into remembering the parties differently lol!

Smirk Essentials 4

We spent the entire day outside yesterday - gorgeous day!  We cleaned up around the yard, garage and gardens.  It is Abby and Joshua's 5th birthday on Thursday and we have their parties planned for Saturday and Sunday so we are madly dashing around the house trying to get organized lol!  I have been putting together the loot bags and shopping for the parties as well.  Today we are going to tackle organizing the basement so it should be a boring and long day!  I will catch up with all of you tomorrow (comments, emails etc)!

Smirk - March Themed Papers

I am finding it really tough getting back to reality!!!  I want to return to the magic of Disney, Florida, vacation ... heck I am ready for retirement!!!  I got through around 2/3 of my email today which I was pleased with and I will finish up tomorrow. I also allowed myself a little bit of time to spend with my photos (I also ordered my Disney photopass CD today - will share the pics and thoughts on that when it comes) from our vacation.  For the record .... drumroll ... I have a total of 1630 pictures from our vacation!!!  Insane?  Am I normal?  Love them all!!  Here are a few of my favourites:

           

I extracted a picture of Abby on the last one and put her on the close up picture I took of the castle - pretty cute huh?!!

I was not very happy with the paper scrapbooking selection at Disney (I still bought a package just because lol) but after looking at some of my pictures I decided I may just make my own stuff to digital scrapbook my pictures.  Here are a few things I worked on while playing around, I haven't added any textures yet:

       
Abby and Joshua were just tall enough for the Tower of Tower at Hollywood Studios and she can not stop talking about it!  Every time we got on the elevator at the condo she would say "I hope this is not the Tower of Tower" or  "I hope we are not going to die!"  Clearly we have traumatized her but I don't feel bad, it was all in the name of good fun lol!
