Heavy Heart

I have decided after much debate that I need to take a break from designing.  When we had our twins 5 years ago I quit my job to stay home with our 3 children.  We worked very hard to have our 3 children in the first place and we wanted to give them every possible advantage including a happy, loving and balanced home life.  I have not been living up to my responsibilites as I have been growing my business here online.  I know that I will regret the time that I have lost with them and I am determined to do a better job going forward.  Please understand that this decision has been made to benefit my children.

I have very much enjoyed getting to know all of you.  You have been a great blessing in my life that I will cherish forever :)

I have left the comments closed for this post as I can't bear to read your good byes, disappointment and possible flames :(  I also ask that you not email me your good byes because this is already hard enough for me.  I will miss you!

Shout! - The Patterns

I was so excited when I went to the mailbox today and got these:

 

My calendars came!!!  They turned out awesome!  I can now wrap the rest of my presents!!!  You can still buy my calendar pages here.  I am very pleased with the quality of the calendars and ArtsCow still has them on sale until December 20th ($6.99 including shipping with coupon code  CRSD699).

As promised here are the number papers in Jump!  I will have the Skip ones for you tomorrow.  After that I will be doing some more numbers to coordinate with the alphas and giving them to you in bunches next week as well as a final add-on post.  After that ... the new kits will start!  I can not tell you how excited I am about the new colours!

Jump ABC Kit - The "Z" Alpha

You had me at "please".  Enough begging already!! LOL!  Of course I will do the numbers papers in Jump and Skip!

My husband returned today after being away for 3 weeks.  It has been really hard, busy and lonely with him gone but you have all helped a lot.  I didn't mention that he was gone because you never know who is reading but I am so glad he has returned from his B.S. executive training (and I don't mean Bachelor of Science!)  In fact, it hardly even seems fair to mention how hard it was having him gone for 3 weeks when I know so many of you have loved ones who are in the military and must endure much greater absences, worries and stress.  Three weeks seems like a coffee break in comparison especially when the only thing at risk was the potential of a paper cut.

Off to snuggle!

P.S.  Brent loves my hair and he says the bangs make me look 5 years younger.  Not sure if I trust his opinion yet as he would say just about anything right now having been gone 3 weeks lol!  Now that he is home I will get him to take a picture of my new haircut.  I tried to take a pic of myself but just got that unflattering seeing up the nose shot, Josh and Abby kept cutting off my head when they tried and Brady (typical 8 year old boy) would only take side shots of my arms making them look bigger than you can possibly imagine and of course back shots whenever I turned around.  Brat!
