Hello Ladies!!!  I am feeling much better today - thanks for all of the comments!  The kids brought home the proofs for their school pictures today and despite the fact that I had filled in the forms for all 3 kids requesting the grey/brown background .... Abby's is bright blue!  Would it be totally ridiculous of me to have her do the picture retake day so that they all match?!  I just can not fathom looking at the 3 pics framed with one bright blue background!  I know that I am lucky girl because this is my only complaint for the day :)

I have been working hard over the last couple of days on a Cheerleading Kit and then I thought that I would do personalized ones for different colour schemes but instead I made 12 different colour schemes to choose from!!!

Charlie Kit Part 7

Thanks for all of you reassurance about the turkey!  It thawed overnight in my soaker tub and the water remained cold all night so I didn't have to set my alarm.  It tasted a bit soapy ... perhaps I shouldn't have added the bubble bath lol!  Everything really turned out great and we had a fun time :)  We are all exhausted today from the preparation and staying up too late.  It is going to be pizza pockets around here for the rest of the week!

Charlie Part 6

It is the Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend so we have my Dad and Lynne here tonight and Brent's whole family tomorrow.  I just pulled out the turkey from the freezer to see how long it needs to cook and I don't know what I was thinking but apparently it should have been thawing in the fridge for the last 4-5 days! OMG have I ruined Thanksgiving?! I am such a horrible cook!  I have just submersed it in my soaker tub and I am apparently going to be setting my alarm for every hour or two tonight to change the cold water!  On the positive side my house is very sparkly clean :)  Will my turkey be okay for tomorrow  ...

Charlie Part Five

I definitely have some more elements coming for you plus a couple of alphas for Charlie but I wanted to make a few more papers for it too.  By the end of the freebies you will have a full kit!

Brady is 10 now and staying up later and later every year.  No more 8 p.m. bedtime!  Anyway, he really wants to watch t.v. with us in the evening and we find it challenging to find things that are appropriate for him and yet hold our interest too.  I have seen every Hannah Montana, Suite LIfe and Wizards of Waverly Place.  So we have slowly introduced him to Survivor, Dragon's Den (Shark Tank is the American equivalent I believe) and Big Brother (not the best choice we made this year).  There really are things to learn from all of them, it opens up the conversation as far as words he does not know and topics he is not familiar with ... and he has also learned what breast implants are lol!  Not the intention obviously.  I am disturbed by some of the commercials that accompany these shows on at 8:00 at night that are way racier then the show we are watching at the time.  Where are shows like Seventh Heaven, Little House on the Prairie, Eight is Enough, Family Ties and Highway to Heaven?

Charlie Part Four

Sheets ... I don't know why my kids are allergic to sleeping under their sheets.  They sleep on top of them, diagnolly across them, on the floor beside their beds, on the floor in the hall ..... I may stop washing them as there seems to be no point!  (and I mean I may stop washing the sheets ... not the kids!)

Charlie Part Three - the start of the elements!

I can not believe I did not think to take before and after and after (lol) pictures of their haircuts!  I was so relieved last year when project 365 ended and the pressure to take a photo a day was over that I have rebelled a little this year with my photography!

Charlie Part Two

Little Abby has her first loose tooth!  I was more upset about this then when I sent her off to school full-time this year!  What is it about them losing a part of their baby body that makes you realize they are growing up?  ... too fast!

Brent took the kids to get their hair cut on Saturday in preparation for picture day tomorrow.  I had to take them all back to get their hair fixed tonight.  Never again will I trust him with that job lol!  I told Brent that I thought Brady's hair looked horrendous and once he took a long look at him he decided that yes indeed it did look like he had "lego person hair".  If your kids love lego like mine do you will understand exactly what I mean!

More papers for Charlie tonight ... tomorrow some elements and I must say I have been working on them a little bit today and I am quite pleased with how this kit is turning out!
