Heavy Heart

I have decided after much debate that I need to take a break from designing.  When we had our twins 5 years ago I quit my job to stay home with our 3 children.  We worked very hard to have our 3 children in the first place and we wanted to give them every possible advantage including a happy, loving and balanced home life.  I have not been living up to my responsibilites as I have been growing my business here online.  I know that I will regret the time that I have lost with them and I am determined to do a better job going forward.  Please understand that this decision has been made to benefit my children.

I have very much enjoyed getting to know all of you.  You have been a great blessing in my life that I will cherish forever :)

I have left the comments closed for this post as I can't bear to read your good byes, disappointment and possible flames :(  I also ask that you not email me your good byes because this is already hard enough for me.  I will miss you!

Shout! - The Patterns

I was so excited when I went to the mailbox today and got these:

 

My calendars came!!!  They turned out awesome!  I can now wrap the rest of my presents!!!  You can still buy my calendar pages here.  I am very pleased with the quality of the calendars and ArtsCow still has them on sale until December 20th ($6.99 including shipping with coupon code  CRSD699).

I also made up the contact sheets for the ABC Kits!!  You can find all of the ABC pieces in my Digitreats Store (top right hand column of my blog).  The download is below the new Shout! downloads :)

Run ABC Kit - Alpha Numbers Part Two

The kids were off today from school (not sick just a PD day) and so we sat down to write their Santa letters and I am in big trouble!!!  Abby wants a microwave so she can make her own pizza pockets!  Can you imagine?  Seriously!  Kids just blow me away sometimes!  Any advice on how to handle that one (and please do not suggest an EasyBake oven!)?

My husband was looking at the picture display on our buffet of the previous years Santa photos and I know that you have seen my "perfect Santa photo" from last year: 

Why am I bringing this up (with the exception of bragging lol!)?  Because I want to share the picture from the previous year that we lovingly and proudly display and refer to as "the worst Santa photo EVER":

 

Abby's tongue is sticking out ... Josh is screaming ... Brady's eyes are closed ... Brady is leaning in towards Joshua becuase Santa was shouting "I am going to drop him!"

Which photo do you think my husband has asked me to email him at work to show ... yes ... the "worst Santa photo EVER"!  To be honest I am not sure it isn't my favourite too.  Sometimes perfect isn't as real!

Skip ABC Kit - Alpha Numbers Part Two

  We went to my Uncle's retirement party last night and we had a great time.  I had Brent take a picture of me when we got home so I could show you my new "do".  It was at the end of the night so my hair looks a little off - don't know what's up with the separating of the bangs in the middle ... or my collar but there it is.

I volunteered in Abby's class yesterday but had to bail half way through when I realized she had pink eye.  It is always something isn't it?!  I am going to Josh's class this afternoon.  Table is still covered in all those Christmas decorations lol!

Here is the FINAL part of the Skip kit, hard to believe!  It has been a long time coming!  I will be putting up the first of two parts for the Run numbers tonight (after I make them lol!) and I am also going to be putting up the final add-on post for the ABC kits.  So if you have made anything you want to share using the Run, Skip and Jump colours please email me asap!
