Tough Alpha 6

We have had sunny skies since Monday so there have been no further incidents with worms (Joshie) and Abby is back to school and healthy!  There are flowers starting to poke up in my flower beds and it is starting to feel like spring finally :)  There are a few reports that we could have snow on the weekend but I am going to remain in denial about that!

Tough April Papers

The week did not start out well at my house ... there was an incident with worms first thing this morning lol!

Josh has apparently decided that he is afraid of worms and got halfway down the driveway this morning on his way to school and started screaming for his life.  I tried to convince him that they were not going to harm him but ended up having to drive him the block to school if you can believe it!  He spent a long time petting stingrays at SeaWorld last month but the worms here in Canada are enough to do him in :)

P.S.  Brent has been doing the laundry over the last few days much to my delight!  Everything is super wrinkly, not put away and he hasn't use fabric softener but I acted thrilled anyway!

I wish I could say I was feeling much better today but I am not :(  It is just a nasty cold but I have such a headache from it and I did not sleep well again last night.  Oh well, I won't complain too much because things could be far worse!  At least it is getting me out of having to do laundry or clean the house :)

I am glad you liked my "last day of being 6" pictures from yesterday. I take that shot every year because it really makes for a great comparison of how much they have grown:

Silly Alpha 5

Hi Ladies!  Sorry I missed posting yesterday.  I started to come down with something on Sunday night and I felt awful yesterday.  I am feeling a little bit better today but I did not sleep well at all.  I didn't have it in me to make the non-themed elements today so I skipped ahead to the alpha.  I will have the elements for you tomorrow.  I also realized that I went from Sassy April to Silly April and skipped Tough!  I will do Tough April as soon as we are done with the Silly set.

Silly April Papers

The parties are FINALLY over!  The kids had a fantastic time and Abby and Joshua have permanent smiles on their faces :)  I however am completely exhausted!  22 hours with 13 seven year olds has just about killed me lol!  I will post pictures tomorrow after I have slept and regained my sanity :)

Hope for Brady - Charity Kit

"Hope For Brady" originally started as an autism awareness kit project that Michelle, of 4 My Babies Scraps was going to do to EARN the money that would help purchase equipment to help her nearly 4 year old, autistic, non verbal, son, Brady, learn to communicate. With this equipment HOPEFULLY, someday he WILL learn to speak. When she mentioned her idea to a couple of her design friends, and told them what she was planning to do for her son Brady, everyone wanted to help! Her friends told their friends, and their friends told their friends, and suddenly Project "Hope For Brady" was born! Below is a Blog Train list of all the designers who's generous digital donations have gone into making up this HUGE multi designer collaboration. We have put together this huge kit for you, and a BIG Bundle with the kit, and all sorts of extra goodies, such as QPs, BB's, printable flash cards, and cluster frames! Now we just need your help in making project "Hope For Brady" a HUGE success! Click HERE 

FYI to non digi scrappers...there are also tutorials included in the kit, and the BIG Bundle to help you LEARN to digi scrap! So what could be a more perfect time to start digi scrappin', and help a good cause in the process?!? 
With your help this special project WILL be a success, and after helping Brady we plan on helping even more children, starting with Katie's (of Just So Scrappy) nephew Kyle who is also affected by autism. Once we have helped the kids in our families, then all future proceeds for "Hope For Brady" will be donated Autism Speaks where it can help even MORE kids in need!
