Sassy Themed Elements 6 - Swimming/Sun Theme - Part 3

I sent out reminders yesterday to all of the girls I hadn't heard from about Abby's party and I am happy to report that I have 3 more coming!  That makes a total of 6 girls including Abby so that will be perfect!  Abby is having a "spa party".  I have bought coloured clip-in hair extensions, a face painting kit, little girl press on nails, feather boas, glitter tatoos for them to decorate and we will paint their toe nails as well.  Abby is so excited!  Josh is having a sleepover party (6 little boys including him) and I am quite nervous about it!  I am going to have to think of a lot of games to keep them out of trouble lol!

Sassy Themed Elements 6 - Swimming/Sun Theme - Part 2

My shopping trip was successful last night and I purchased all of the birthday presents for Abby and Joshua.  I love buying toys for my kids :)  Abby is so easy ... if it is pink she will love it!

I also bought all of the stuff for their loot bags and put them together today.  Abby helped me with hers and Josh's as he had no interest in it ... he is such a boy!  I had to guess on the number of loot bags for Abby as I still have only heard back from 2 of the 8 girls she invited :(

Sassy Themed Elements 6 - Swimming/Sun Theme

We had a fantastic time with our friends last night!  It was great to be able to hang out with my two best friends!  Brent had a great time too - lots of laughs, dancing and some air guitar solos lol!

I am off to Wal-mart right now to try and get a jump start on the shopping for Abby and Joshua's birthday next weekend - I just made a list of everything I have to do this week and figured I better start now!

I ended up getting carried away with the elements for this theme so I am going to break it up into 3 parts ... giving me time to catch up on some other things too lol!  I did end up adding a few more papers too!

We are going out of town today for an overnight visit with our friends.  I know we will have a great time and so will the kids!

Sassy Alpha 6

One week until Abby and Joshua's 7th birthday!  I am actually a little stressed about it as only 2 people have RSVP'd for Abby' party.  I sent out the invitations before we went away on vacation 2 1/2 weeks ago.  Why do people not RSVP?  I just don't want her to be disappointed :(  This parenting thing can be heartbreaking sometimes!

I am really having a hard time getting back on track since I got home from vacation!  I think it is the lack of sunshine .... I feel exhausted even in the morning :)  I suppose it is normal to feel a wee bit sad when your vacation is over and you get back to the daily boring routines.  At least the kids are cute and happy!

We paid for the dolphin feeding session at SeaWorld and even though it was short it was well worth the extra money.  The dolphins literally came right up to you to be fed and they were adorable.  The kids loved it ... and so did Brent and I!  Unfortunately Brent somehow ended up with the camera so there are not quite as many pictures as I would have liked ... the one I took of Brent is pretty good though!  I gave my fish to the kids because they were having such a great time but I did get to feed one dolphin and feel his/her skin ... not that I have a picture to prove it!

Multi-Photo/Project 365 Template No. 10

We are back!!  It was a very long drive home but we got in safely last night and there is only a little bit of snow left in our yard!  Abby declared on the way home that she was ready to move to Florida lol!  Not sure that will happen any time soon but I sure would like to go back next week!  The weather was hot and sunny every day and could not have been more perfect.  Busch Gardens was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed SeaWorld again.  I will be posting lots of pictures over the coming weeks (I only took 1100 pics!) and I am going to start working on SeaWorld and Busch Gardens themed kits to scrapbook my pictures.  I will also let you know about where we stayed and what our favourites were at each of the parks!

I spent the day unpacking and I will spend the evening catching up on my email and comments.

It is nice to be home!
