This has been such a busy week with after school activities, homework, tests etc ....!
It is Brent's birthday on Sunday and we are having a house full for the weekend so I have been busy cleaning and shopping too :) I hope to steal a few hours tomorrow morning before the craziness starts so I have things to give you this weekend!
Brady got his purple belt in karate tonight which was so exciting! He is really quite pleased with himself :)
We finally made a decision about which parks we are going to when we visit Florida next month. We have decided to go to Busch Gardens (which we have never been to) and Seaworld (which we loved!). I am having a hard time finding "touring plans" for Busch Gardens - anyone have any advice for me? Is it as good as it sounds? Karen M. - I believe I remember seeing layouts that you did of Busch Gardens - what do you think of it?
Talk to you tomorrow!
Download expired but you can still find it in my Digitreats Store

Thanks, and have fun at Busch Gardens and Sea World. I have been to both, although, it's been a while. Both places are very nice. A good mix of walking, watching the shows and riding. When my daughters where old enough, we paid extra for them to go on the safari ride. They said it was worth every penny! They got to feed and pet the giraffes.

Florida is the only Continental state i have not visited. My cousins used to always go to Busch Gardens and they raved about it. You are building memories for your children that will last a lifetime. i have been told the Safari is fabulous, but since i haven't been there, i'm no expert. The photos of BG make me drool, so i doubt you'll be disappointed. Thanks for this alpha! You really do take my breath away with all your busy-ness! i can hardly remember a time when i had that much energy. i know i did when my son and daughter were children, but it seem so long ago and far away. i love hearing about your travels and "doings;" it helps me remember the sweet years my children were children!

Make sure you bring everyone a change of clothes for Busch Gardens and wear flip flops or other water-friendly shoes. Kids can't resist standing on the bridge where the log ride soaks you and it SUCKS walking around in wet clothes and shoes!

Thank you so much.
I was trying to scrap with a green and brown tough paper and discoverd that there are not many green brown or beige elements without blue in them as well.
Can I ask for a few green brown and beige combinations. :D.

Love Busch Gardens. Been there many times over the years with the kids. There is a lot of walking, but they have rides, shows, animals, etc. Drink plenty of water, have an extra outfit for the kids, and wear footwear that is water friendly. Plenty of rollercoasters too! MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry is close by, a favorite of kids too! Enjoy!!http://www.buschgardens.com/bgt/

It's been a while since I've been to Busch Gardens but it was a lot of fun. There are rides on all levels of thrill from little kiddie stuff to the big coasters. There a few that involve getting wet so be prepared. I think just sort of going from one side of the part to another gets you there and I don't think its as crowded as Disney so a big plan isn't really as important. Of course my oldest who has lived in Africa thinks chickens and goats roaming free would make it a bit more like the real deal.
