I am here to tell you that today I believe I have discovered the cause of the stomach flu! Joshua is home sick today and I have pieced together a special combination that I believe may be the cause of the flu:
1) The parents have successfully secured Grandma to have all 3 kids over night at her house for the first time in 9 months. The parents intend to go out to a nice restaurant for dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening at home.
2) All of the bed sheets were just washed and put back on the beds.
3) It has to be on a Friday and in particular a Friday of a long weekend (the kids have a P.D. Day on Monday)
4) Please be advised the following statement is not for those with weak stomachs. The final and absolute must to this special combination listed is that you had to have fed the children hot dogs for dinner (mostly because it will pose a special challenge when cleaning up the shag carpet and couch).
Please do not do any of the above 4 things on the same day because it will cause the stomach flu.
I have added some new patterned papers for Silly, Tough and Sassy to my store!
Make sure to grab them in my store while my sale is on!
The coupon is good until Sunday!

Oh man! Yeah - I'd say that's a sure-fire cause. I can't stand stomach viruses. They make me cringe out of fear. ;) Good luck - I hope it doesn't get all of you!
Thanks for the goodies.

Yeah nothing like planning a special time to cause sickness in children. And if you want to end a drought plan a very special outdoor activity.

You are a good diagnostician! Of course that is the cause of the flu! Now, start a fund-raiser to develop a permanent cure!!! Oh, your post got me laughing as i remember those good ol' days when my kids were small! But...i am soooooo sorry it hit your house! Thanks for this delightful new portion of the mega kit!

sorry that the stomach flu has hit your house, but your diagnosis is spot on, made me chuckle -- the same for Karen M about the drought -- why does all this happen?? Thanks again for the last few days of goodies.

I think you have just discovered the secret! Just too funny if it weren't so true! I think we have all had similar situations with our kiddos, but just never put 2 and 2 together! Too late for me now, but I will pass your diacovery on to my friends with little ones. LOL!
Sorry about your little one, but hopefully it will pass soon...as soon as the weekend is past saving! LOL!
Thanks for all the kind shares and hang in there!
