I am glad you like the video of Abby!  Tomorrow is her last day of presentations and she is actually sad about it.  Apparently she likes doing the speeches in class every day this week.  I think it is an attention thing!

We have been talking about Project 365 a little bit and while I have decided not to do it this year I do scrapbook chronologically and I may pick a week here and there throughout the year to do a picture a day.  I hope everyone will be able to use these papers and elements - I will do the same for the next Sassy and Tough sets :)

Silly Alpha Hot Pink Polka Dot Alpha

Abby has been doing really well with her presentations this week!  She has 4 more to go!  This really is a lot for a 6 year old in my opinion but both Abby and Joshua have been able to handle it so I guess I could be wrong!

I have not used a lot of the hot pink in the Silly kit because I keep thinking it turns it a little too girly for this neutral kit but I just had to make this alpha!  I have a neutral one to share with you today too!

Silly January Papers

 We had forced family fun today and took the kids skiing.  It was -16c and the day did not go well, in fact it ended rather early lol!

Sometimes a picture doesn't say a thousand words because you would never know how awful the day was judging by these smiling faces this morning!

App Chat:

I have added a new category on the right hand side of my blog called "App Chat".  I haven't checked out most of the apps mentioned so far but I wanted to be able to find them again when I have time - I am sure you can relate and I hope it will be helpful for you too!

Me-  My brother was over yesterday and showed me the app Simon Says and it is exactly like the game we used to play when I was a kid!  Love it and so did the kids!  We also downloaded Rush Hour (it is a fantastic award winning board game) which I always loved to play with Brady and it is a great app.  Both are free!

Kyrsten had this to say about the app "I am awesome"- "You type a name in & it immediately gives you a slide show with that name on all sort of things. If you click the top button & bottom button on your phone at the same time it takes a picture of your screen & saves it to your photos. I have had fun doing this with this app & using it in some of my digiscrapping."

Sue had this to say - Some of my fav apps (aside from the practical banking and bill apps and Facebook): Amazon, Flickr, Daily Digi, PS Express (photo editing right on your phone), Netflix. And games (for me and the kids... FaceGoo, Talking Carl, Cookie/Cake Doodle, Cut the Rope, Pictureka!, Montessori Crosswords. :)

I mentioned the other day that I had finally ordered my Project 365 album for 2009 and Nicole left a comment asking where I ordered it from.  I always order my 12x12 annual albums from Shutterfly.  I order everything else from Artscow because they are a lot less expensive however the quality is not as good and I prefer to have my special albums that I have worked tirelessly on printed in the best possible quality.  I order lots of 8x8 and 6x6 books from Artscow and I used them for my calendars too.  I have ordered a few 12x12 scrapbook pages from them to frame and hang on my walls and they did turn out great as well.  I find with Artscow that sometimes it is hit and miss with their colours.  Just my opinion!

Sue mentioned that she was going to be 2nd shooter at a wedding and I left a comment back asking what that meant.  She answered my question and the answer is - second photographer at a wedding.  It seems obvious to me now but Sue I honestly thought you were pouring shots/drinks as a shooter girl at the wedding!  Thanks for clearing it up!

Tough Themed Elements 3 - Cowboy!

I bought these really cute commercial use templates to make today's elements!  I don't make everything from scratch as I would have to live on the computer in order to offer my daily downloads.  Business has been a little bit slow lately so if you have a few extra dollars this month head over to my store to pick up some extra goodies and help keep me in business lol!

Tough Themed Papers 3 - Cowboys!

My husband had been away all week in the Bahamas for work.  Swimming with the dolphins, sunning on the beach, golfing ..... hmmmm .... doesn't sound like work to me!  I am so glad he is coming home tonight.  It has been a long, tiring and lonely week.  I cleaned up the horrific mess in his office (it has been like that for months) to surprise him.  I hope it doesn't back fire on me by inspiring him to spend more time in there lol!

Tough Non-Themed Elements 3

I did it!  I finally got my Project 365 photo book for 2009 finished and ordered!  I had managed to take the daily pictures but I had only completed layouts from January to September.  I forced myself to sit down and finish it yesterday and now I can't wait to get it!  I am going to be stalking the mailbox until it arrives.  Thankfully I didn't do project 365 in 2010!  I am now inspired to start it again for 2011 even though I have not taken daily photos I don't think it is too late.  Is anyone else doing Project 365 this year?
