We have had a great and busy weekend ! Date night was a bit delayed as Brent had an emergency at work and didn't get home until 7 p.m. We still went out for dinner but it was so late by the time we sat down to eat and we were starving!
Looking forward to everyone going to school and work tomorrow so I can do some catch up and enjoy the peace and quiet lol!

As I promised with last week's theme for Silly, I have done the same theme for Tough and Sassy this week :) I spent most of my day working on a new kit that I hope to introduce to you tomorrow.
I am holding my breath to see if everyone is healthy tomorrow so that they can go to Grandma's house for a sleepover and we get the date night we missed last week!
P.S. I will talk more about my love affair with my iPad tomorrow and answer the questions left in the comments about it!

I have had NO computer time in the last 24 hours and I am going through withdrawal lol! Thankfully I made this alpha yesterday! I spent the whole day today trying to find a family physician and I was finally successful!!!! We have been using walk-in-clinics since we moved and we were on a ton of lists that clearly were going nowhere. Anyway, I have the paper work and I am going to fill it in tonight and drop it off tomorrow - hopefully they still have a spot!

Can I tell you that if I had to marry an inanimate object that it would be my iPad? Loving it! I have started reading my first book on the iPad and I will never go back to a paper book again. I thought I would miss the actual feel of a book in my hand but I was wrong. Two books that I have read lately that I really enjoyed are The Slap and Room. I would love to hear your book suggestions ... hopefully they are available in digital!

Kids are off today so I thought I would quickly post so we can get to having fun! We went to see Tangled at the movies yesterday and it was super cute. I am going to check out the Disney store to see if I can find little stuffed chameleons to give them for Valentine's Day :)
I finally convinced my husband to join Facebook on the weekend! He didn't quite understand what all the fuss was about but after having watched The Social Network last weekend he finally agreed. He has had over 60 friend requests (all people from high school) in the last two days and he is feeling a bit creeped out by it all lol!

Well if you can believe it everyone is perfectly healthy and full of energy here today! Joshie is 100% and it doesn't look like anyone else is coming down with the flu - yippee!

I am here to tell you that today I believe I have discovered the cause of the stomach flu! Joshua is home sick today and I have pieced together a special combination that I believe may be the cause of the flu:
1) The parents have successfully secured Grandma to have all 3 kids over night at her house for the first time in 9 months. The parents intend to go out to a nice restaurant for dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening at home.
2) All of the bed sheets were just washed and put back on the beds.
3) It has to be on a Friday and in particular a Friday of a long weekend (the kids have a P.D. Day on Monday)
4) Please be advised the following statement is not for those with weak stomachs. The final and absolute must to this special combination listed is that you had to have fed the children hot dogs for dinner (mostly because it will pose a special challenge when cleaning up the shag carpet and couch).
Please do not do any of the above 4 things on the same day because it will cause the stomach flu.
