Surprise, surprise ... the kids wanted to get most of my fun "to do" list checked off the first day!
Joshie wrapping his presents and filling out his tags.
Abby was pretty pleased with her purchases ... and the tooth she lost yesterday ... or should I say the tooth her Auntie Karin yanked from her head!
We did the gingerbread houses (one has already collapsed) and gingerbread cookies. I am not sure why they have such strange looks on their faces, perhaps it is the sugar rush!
I had wanted to show you this block tree I made a few weeks ago but kept forgetting to take pics. It is not quite finished - I need a few more decorations on it (I am still searching for the perfect tiny ornaments) and I need a star on top. I built it on a lazy susan and used around 140 blocks. You can not really tell by the picture but most of the blocks spell out words around the tree. It says Merry Christmas around the bottom and also contains my children's names, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, kiss, St. Nick, snow etc. I had helped my Auntie make one years ago and had always wanted to do one for myself. I finally got around to it! The kids love spinning it around to look at the ornaments and their names :)
Download expired but you can still find it in my Digitreats Store
