Smirk Alpha 4 - Part One

What a wonderful bunch of smart, articulate and beautiful mothers we have here!  Thank you so much for all of your responses to my rant from yesterday.  I have read every one of them and have even printed some of them off to hang in my office as a reminder that I can do it, I am doing it and I can do better.  You inspire me! Love and kisses to each and every one of you who works so hard every day!

Thank You - I am so happy to hear that Thomas is now cancer free.  You must be absolutely thrilled and relieved beyond belief.  Kisses to him for being such a trooper and prayers to you that you never have to hear that 6 letter word again :)

So I didn't post a thanks yesterday b/c my computer was being a poop, but I read the comments and must say you're right: so many women (and men! I won't be gender biased, lol), said some great things. :)
And honestly, if you were wrong with what you had said, there wouldn't be, like FIFTY comments saying how right you are, lol! I doubt all of us Digitreats followers would be "here" if we thought what you said was way off base. ;)

I don't always comment, but I love stopping by to get your freebies (which I LOVE) and to hear from anther REAL mom, like me! I haven't watched oprah in years because of her God complex, but I agree with you, she has gotten way off base. Everyone in my neck of the woods is on "our" side. Thanks for always sharing your personal life with us, and your great design stuff.

I still watch Oprah, too, so you're not the only one. I totally agree with everything you said. I didn't give it much thought when I was watching it (too busy being a REAL mom at the time! LOL) but reading what you said, I was thinking back on it and remembered how off-base most of that show was. I'd noticed how she interrupts her guests a lot, too. So annoying!

Like the design of the new Alpha. It also spells Super G-Mom! I don't know you personally but I've been a dedicated follower long enough to figure out that you & Brent put forth every effort & give it your all to be the best parents you can be. I only watch Oprah like once a year...when my mom calls and says this is important...be sure to watch it. I found on the last show that she wouldn't be quiet long enough for the person to get out all the very important medical information out in the time allotted.

I would have probably changed the channel on that particular show!

I missed this Oprah. I used to watch years ago, but life got busy and I stopped Tivo-ing it. I noticed the same things you did. It goes back to the whole sensationalism creates marketing cash syndrome. I wish we could afford TV and news without advertising.
