Shout April Elements

I am not very pleased today as there seems to be a tremendous sharing of my links from yesterday.  There are twice as many downloads as there are clicks to my blog/store.  There is absolutely no reason for people to be delivering my file links when they can just refer directly back to my blog for free downloading.  I am the only one who should be sharing my download links.  I spend a lot of time putting together these free daily downloads as well as my money to purchase commercial use products to create them and while I don't expect everyone to say thank you (surprising to only get 22 comments for the 2000+ downloads) I do expect to at least get the exposure of potential new customers from people visiting my blog.

If this continues I will shut my blog down.

(I am putting this in bold because likely the people doing this don't read a damn word I have to say unless it jumps off the page at them :)

Please make sure to check out my post from yesterday regarding the personalized sets and the free Happy Kit elements I posted.  I am not sure how long I will leave the personalized sets open to new names, it all depends on how busy my life gets!

Wow! i can't believe that is still going on! (sharing links, i mean!) i so appreciate the effort you put into designing so many kits at one time - FOR FREE!! It makes a huge difference to me because i have only my social security plus a small stipend for part time work in a thrift store to live on, and if it weren't for the generosity of many excellent designers, i could not enjoy this hobby! i don't say "thank you" frequently enough, but i have such trouble seeing the code i have to put in to post a thank-you. It has taken me sometimes a half hour of attempts to input the code so i can post my comments. Sometimes i just give up - if there was another way to tell you "thanks" each time i download, i would certainly utilize that. But, i would NEVER share links, though i have given your web address. i enjoy your blog - you seem almost like family to me. So, thanks, a thousand times thanks!

I am so sorry that people are being so disrespectful to you in sharing your links. You should be angry! It is such a simple (and enjoyable thing) to come to your blog. I so enjoy your goodies but more so, I enjoy what you have to say and the sharing of life moments.

I'm sorry people are passing out your download links :( I have you in my google reader list, so I see your blog every day. What sucks is that the people who are accessing your freebies the wrong way won't probably ever get to see the warning on your website, since they are bypassing it altogether. I hope it stops asap! I promise that most of us appreciate your hard work!

I totally understand your frustration. Being in a single-income family limits my spending on hobbies, so your site is one that I frequent because you have such great stuff. And I don't leave a comment every time, but I hope you know that you are greatly appreciated and I always pass on your blog link for friends interested in this awesome hobby. You spend so much time creating, it's nice for people to be exposed to YOU the designer, and other stuff you have for sale. It's just one extra click, after all.
