Apparently my motherly instincts are alive and strong! I called the doctor's office as soon as it opened yesterday and was able to get Abby in by noon. As we were waiting in the office I told Brady that I had a feeling we would be making a trip to the hospital and that was indeed where they sent us after looking at Abby. After a chest x-ray at the hospital they confirmed that she has pneumonia. She responded really well and quickly to the medication so she did not have to stay overnight. Abby is doing much better today and I am so relieved. She will be off school for the next few days but is playing and colouring like her old self. She really is strong little trooper :)
It is a beautiful fall day here (lol!), Abby is adorable, I am almost done my tax returns and email so I am feeling really good! Apparently I forgot to make alphas for April so here is the first part of the Giggle set that I made today, numbers and punctuation tomorrow!

Glad to hear you trusted you instincts and happy to know that Abby is feeling better and getting back to her "old" self. I know I had walking pneumonia in high school and was just miserable. Take Care.

Poor little one! Glad she's doning better now. And the motherly instinct is soooooo important (my youngest was twice in the hospital the first year for dehydration while being sick, only because of me nagging to the doctors....the doctors just wanted to sent her and me home and I had to give her something to drink!! I will not think of what could have happened...)

Glad to hear Abby is doing better! I've only had to deal with pneumonia once, but it was scary!!!
