I forgot to tell you, not that you missed much lol but our fridge stopped working on Monday and we have been living out of coolers on our front porch! It finally got fixed today, it is less than 2 years old and I am appalled at the fact that something needed to be replaced already (motor in the fan). Can you imagine "I am going out to the front porch for some milk, do you need some cheese while I am out there?"
Here is a picture of Brent in front of the Alamo where he visited for "work" a couple of weeks ago. Typical Canadians visiting Texas - he took his cowboy boots (that he has had since highschool lol!) and visited the Alamo! I know, I am just being jealous. Thank goodness for our cold weather here right now because if we lived in Texas or California our food would have spoiled on the front porch!
Download expired but you can still find it in my Digitreats Store

When we first bought our house we lived out of coolers on the porch until the fridge came. It was insane. I feel for you.
Thanks for all the beautiful kits you have offered us. I appreciate them.

I'm jealous too! I've never been to the Alamo... or Texas either for that matter. I've lived in Florida practically my WHOLE life. Right now it's not such a bad place to be but my food would have spoiled except for our hard freeze a couple of days last week. Thanks for the Alpha!

Thanks Pam. What a cute alpha! Cindy

LOVE the new Giggle alpha. Thanks so much, Pamela.
We visited the Alamo about 10 years ago and it was really very emotional for me just thinking of all the lives that were lost there. We hope to go back someday. We loved the river walk, too.
So sorry to hear you are roughing it with the coolers. I keep holding my breath wondering when our appliances will start to go. We bought them new when we built our home in 1991 and I keep thinking it's about time for them to start cratering on us. Shut my mouth. LOL
Hugs!

That sucks about the fridge, but at least it's cold enough that you can do that! We couldn't do that here in California..LOL

What a great looking alphabet thanks so much. Sorry about your fridge but yes the cold weather would be a blessing it would never have lasted on a Florida porch.

hey - i'm from San Antonio! Hope he enjoyed our city. Next time you'll have to go with him because the river walk is very nice - although this isn't the best time of year for it! Thanks for the alpha!

I woke up this morning to a COLD 21 degrees with a wind chill of 12. Your food would've been safe!

Things are definitely not made like they used to be. It's not uncommon for items to go out right after the warranty expires. I think it's just something that we have to accept and expect. It's a bummer though. The best thing to do is buy old, used appliances, then they last forever!! We store food on our porch as well. The freezer is to full. I'd love a grilled cheese sandwich if you are not to busy! Thank you for the freebies. Have a great day. Stay warm!

I've been busy the last few days, so I just got the new papers and these today. I love the alpha - so pretty. LOL over your "new fridge" aka your front porch. There is finally an upside to the freezing cold. I'm glad it is fixed for you.
Thank you for the goodies.

Thanks for the alpha. The buttons & bows really add to it - I wouldn't have thought to do that.

Cute Alpha! Sorry about the fridge. When we lost power last year, we stored our food outside, despite the warnings of the local TV stations. They warned that wild animals (small ones, we're in town) might get into the food, without us knowing. We were SO terrified that some raccoon was going to open the milk, take a swig from the jug and put the lid on. How would we know?! Good luck with the fridge and watch out for signs of wild animals!

Thanks for the adorable Alpha...I LOVE it.
Sorry about your fridge.
It is actually cold enough here in Oklahoma for you to set stuff out side too.
I just keep crossing my fingers that our power will hold. Last year when we had an Ice storm we were without power for 8 days and had to move in with friends! It was crazy!
