Skip ABC Kit - The "U" Alpha
Look at what Barbara has done with my ABC Templates!!! She has them printed at Costco and then frames them for her beautiful family for gifts. I think I may do a "wall of fame" in my basement with all of my family members!
If you haven't been collecting the ABC templates you can pick the entire set up in my store!
Thank you so much for sharing this idea with us Barbara!
Download expired but you can still find it in my Digitreats Store
Could you please leave me your "U" words for the Skip and Run papers today? Thank you so much! What do you want to do for the "U" theme for Jump?
I added a new link for the Jump "T" papers for those of you who were having trouble with it :)
Must go now - I am bubbling over with excitement about Grey's Anatomy tonight!!! I love September!

Thanks for another awesome kit!! U words...unique, ultimate, ufo, usa, ultra, ultrasonic, ultraviolet...U is really hard.
How about "UFO" as a theme??

I love September too. All my favorite shows. I watch ALL the CSI's, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Bones, (you think I should have pursued a career in forensics?). Ghost Whisperer, because it helps me to know Ronnie is okay in heaven. I've watch Grey's Anatomy but don't follow it religiously. I don't know why because I really like the show. Maybe unusual for Jump, because I like things that are different. and U words, now that's tuff. how about unassuming, unaware, undue, undying, uptown, and anything with under after it, like underwear.. just kidding. Okay, time for me to shut up now...lol lol... thanks for skip U's.

A fellow scrapper AND another Grey's addict? I'm hooked, too! My son's known his whole life that "I can only talk during the commercials when Mommy's doctor show is on"
Now, to get you yet another recipe and watch Grey's at the same time, ha! We'll see, the recipe might have to wait until tomorrow or late late tonight.
U words ARE hard, the only one that comes to mind is "understanding" - something every mother knows :).
Other than pulling out the dictionary, that's the only one that comes to mind.

hehehee...totally downloading during Grey's commercial breaks! Did you sit there begging the TV too "be dream...be a dream....THANK YOU!!". :)
Posted by: Marilou | September 25, 2008 at 08:18 PM
ubiquous? U is very hard. Unique, Understanding, universal, ultimate, unanimous, underestimate, unequivical.
Posted by: Paula | September 25, 2008 at 08:27 PM
I think Unique might be an OK theme. Tough letter. What are we going to do for X? Yikes! How about unfathomable to add to the list?
Posted by: Terebene | September 25, 2008 at 08:52 PM
Those prints are awesome :) I can't believe we are on U already? Thanks for the goodies!

I just finished watching Grey's - what did you think? I'm so glad it was two hours...and I was kind of hoping McSandy Desert trauma guy would stay on!
U...U...U...what begins with U? Uncle Ugg's umbrella and underwear, too! Sorry..not much help, I know. I like Unique as a theme, since so many of our friends, relatives and kids are just that!
Posted by: Tina | September 25, 2008 at 10:13 PM
U words: Unusual, underneath, ultra-special, unique, "U" [you], ultimate, untidy, unbelievable, unswerving, utmost, up [a constant command from my infant!], upside-down, upper hand [those big baby eyes!], urban, urgent, useful,
other "U" words I like - umpire, umpteenth warming, umbilical cord, unbloodied [lol!], urchin [what I nicknamed my unborn child], urinal [joys of toilet training]
As for a theme - how about UNUSUAL or Underground [bugs, dirt, mud pies, grass]? I can't recall all the former themes any more, so sorry if they've been done, but that's what I thought of. :-)
Thx again for the next wonderful piece. :-)
Posted by: D | September 25, 2008 at 10:20 PM
I really wish there was an edit sometimes ... make that "umpteenth WARNING" [sigh!]. I also like underwear. :-)
Posted by: D | September 25, 2008 at 10:21 PM
What are we going to do after Z??? :) I look forward to your posts each day!
U words: ultimate, ultra, unafraid, unbelievable, unavoidable ;), unbreakable, uncanny, unconditional love, undaunted, unequaled, unforgettable, unique, unselfish, up-and-coming, and urchin (a "mischievous youngster") :)
I like the ideas posted above for unusual or unique as the Jump theme. :)
Posted by: Tracy | September 25, 2008 at 11:40 PM
I can't believe how many U words you the girls have already posted. From my adjective file I found:
ultimate, unbelievable, uncanny, understanding, unfailing, uninhibited, unique, unmistakable, unusual, upbeat, uplifting, useful
I can't think of a theme, but I like the underwear. I am sure I must have photos that would work. ROFLOL
Oh my gosh! I LOVE Barbara's template photos and what a great idea you and she has shared with us. I am going to do this for sure. When we remodeled last year I couldn't decide what to put on my walls. Now I know. THANK YOU to both of you for this wonderful idea. Isn't the internet FABULOUS? LOL I LOVE it.
Thanks for the new alpha, also, and sending big hugs. I am going to bed a happy person tonight.
I worked on a few more recipes tonight and have more to do. Hopefully I will get them done in time.

I hope you all enjoyed your shows. I am at work that time of night, boo hoo! lol

Wow, I really like how Barbara used your templates, I like the plain style that´s also nice for men. Yeah, christmas can come!
I was thinking about theme words for U, but I didn´t find out any really good ones, only ultrasound, university or underground. But there must be something else :-)
Thanks for the U´s, though.

Ok, first off, am I the only one that noticed the whole "On the next all new Grey's, in two weeks on ABC" bit? So that means we get a 2 hour teaser, two weeks, THEN a new one again? As if the writer's strike didn't mess us up last year with the whole "three months off and you get six new episodes then three months off again" bit. Not cool. I'm not liking ABC right now.
On to the scrapping, can we do "umbrella" for the U theme for all those rainy day pictures? It's a stretch, but it might just work..
I'm agreeing with the others, what can we do for X? I have X-ray's of my son's bronchitis and my husband's bagpipes that would make interesting scrapbook pages :)
Posted by: Lauren | September 26, 2008 at 01:19 AM
Oh, for x I´d love love love to do X-Mas! I´m allready sparing my last years christmas pictures in expectation of the digitreats x-elements. Just a suggestion *lol*

Thanks for the U alpha. Can't believe we're almost at the end what a fun year. I have a cold and felt lousy so I didn't do much but sit around but I did get 13 layouts done.

I have the perfect U theme!! UGLY!!! I love it! I doubt may people will approve, so I may just have to do my own ugly page...underwear is kind of a fun theme, too, but only if you have kids. No one wants to see adults in their underwear. Everyone has pictures of something ugly, or has something ugly they could take pictures of! Ugly, I love it. In case you couldn't tell, I'm cracking up over here!!

Forgot to add my theme suggestion. Unusual or Unique.
Posted by: Virginia | September 26, 2008 at 08:40 AM
The end of the alphabet brings the more difficult letters. :) U... I'm not sure I can add anything new - unique, understanding, I'm at a loss. I love Helen's idea of X-mas for X. Then again, Alysa looked adorable in her hot pink cast when she was 21 months old. :)
I love Barbara's idea. Do you know if she printed them in 12x12 (if not what size)? I'm wondering where she found 12x12 frames or if they were custom. It's a great gift idea with X-mas coming up!
Thanks for the U alpha!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Barbara used the templates. It is a GREAT ideal, and just in time for me to start so I will be ready for CHRISTmas.
Loved the hour office last night...I won't say in case people tivoed but I can't BELIEVE what Jim did.
I have LOVED all of the themes we have had but I will be a little disappointed if
x-mas is used. I know people think it is a harmless abbreviation, but for me I think it is just one more way to remove Christ from the holiday that celebrates his birth.
Sorry for the soap box. Can't let that one slide.
Thanks for the letters.
